Your booking is deemed to be reserved when the booking fee has been paid, and the contracts signed by all parties. Until this is done a photography booking is considered to be unconfirmed, and as such could be lost to another booking.
Special Offers and Discounts
Where offers or discounts are used as part of a wedding, or other photography, package and the booking is subsequently cancelled by the client any refund to which you may be entitled will be reduced by the cost of these special offers or discounts if the offer or discount has already been used by the client prior to the cancellation notification being received by us.
We do not charge deposits but do require a booking fee to reserve your date for all of our photography services. This booking fee is non-refundable. The rates for booking fees are provided within the details of each service we provide.
When booking our wedding, or event, photography services we require a contract to be signed by all parties involved. This, along with your booking fee, confirms your booking and reserves your date. Until the contract is signed by all parties and the booking fee is received by us your date is considered unreserved and may be taken by another booking.
Full payment for your wedding photography must be received at the latest 1 month before your booked date unless you have cancelled your booking and no further payments are required (see 'If you Cancel your Booking'
Payments can be made by Cash, Debit Card, Standing Order, BACS, Cheque, or through PayPal. Payments made through Paypal will be subject to a 5% transaction fee to cover transaction costs.
Installment Plans for Wedding Photography
We do not provide installment plans as an option when you book our photography services. However, our photographers are happy to receive part payments towards your wedding or event photography at any time and receipts will be issued. These payments will be held in a separate account until the date your final payment is due, and will then be transferred to our business current account and will be deemed as usuable from that date.
Our gift certificates can be used to purchase prints from our online galleries, or as full or part payment towards any of our photography services. You can use several gift certificates on one purchase, but no change will be given if your certificate has a higher value than your purchase value. No refunds will be given for expired gift certificates, gift certificates that were bought in error, or gift certificates that are no longer required. Our gift certificates can not be used for any other purposes, or used by people other than those named on the certificate.
Short Notice Bookings
If bookings are made at short notice then payment must be made in full immediately if the booking is less than 14 days away, or within 3 working days if the booking is more than 14 days away. In this situation confirmation emails will be considered contractually binding on both parties.
All payments for Short Notice Bookings are non-refundable unless we have to cancel the booking.
Mileage and Toll Fees
Bookings with a 1 hour drive of Bridgwater are not subject to mileage costs. Travel of over 1 hour is subject to a charge of £25 per additional hour of travel.
We cover the cost of any toll fees that we may incur enroute to your booking.
When will I get my Photographs?
You will usually receive your photographs within 6 weeks of the date of your booking, but on rare occasions this may be a little longer. We will inform you if this will be likely.
If you Cancel your Booking
If you contact us to cancel a booking we will call you back to confirm the cancellation before acting upon the cancellation notification. If your booking is cancelled less than 1 month before your booked date you will be liable to pay 50% of the total cost of your booking immediately. This may, however, be refunded at a later date if we secure another booking of equivalent or greater value on the date of your original booking. If we secure another booking of lower value then we may, at our sole discretion, refund all, or part, of any monies paid, excluding your booking fee. Any refunds due are usually issued within 30 days of the date we receive your notice of cancellation. Your booking fee may be refunded, at our sole discretion, if you cancel more than one month before your booking date, and we secure another booking of equal or greater value on your booked date.
If we have to Cancel
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking we may, at our sole discretion, refund your booking fee. We will issue a full refund of all other payments you have made, but this will be reduced by the cost of any services already supplied to you. Any refunds due will usually be issued in full within 30 days of us notifying you of our cancellation. This will be the maximum extent of our liability.
Charity Event Bookings
Charity event bookings are subject to a £100 booking fee which must be paid in full when booking us. All mileage will also be charged at 45p per mile. If we sell prints at your event to raise money for your charity we will donate a minimum of 25% and a maximum of 50% of all profits made by us at your event. This, the booking fee, and mileage charges are non-negotiable.
