It is with a hint of sadness that I inform you that we have permanently closed GDJ Photography with immediate effect.
This has not been an easy decision, but it hasn't been that hard either as we have seen a massive downturn in trade over the last year, and the business has become financially untenable.
I have also found that I am spending more time doing things that are less stressful, and thus more emotionally rewarding. I will be continuing to do photography, but as a hobby - so back to where it all started - I have not lost my passion for the art.
Just to let you know we are not skipping out on anyone as we have no current bookings, so this seemed the perfect time to do this. It also has nothing to do with the current Covid-19 situation, as there were no bookings lined up because we have been winding down for a little while now.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the brides and grooms that I have given me the priveledge of being part of their special day. I hope I helped to make it a memorable occasion, I personally enjoyed every single one. I am still keeping the back-ups of your images so if you find you need a duplicate of them then please email me at my new email address, email@example.com and I will happily let you know how to get hold of them.
If you have received a quote from us and still wish to proceed with booking me for your wedding then please get in touch with me using the email address above. These bookings will be done on a direct booking with me, and not through the company GDJ Photography.
I will not be issuing any further quotes as of today (31 March 2020), and this website will cease to exist on 5 August 2020 when the domain expires.
My new home
I will be focusing more on my acting from now on, and am in the process of setting up a new website at www.gdjuk.co.uk. If you would like to see how I am doing, or follow my (hopefully succesful) career then please feel free to pop over to the new site and add it to your bookmarks.
Keep safe during this difficult time. I hope that you, your family, and friends are not affected by this current pandemic. I am doing my very best to stay well in preparation for when we are able to resume our daily lives. My first stop will probably be McDonalds.
Thanks for stopping by, I wish you all the very best for the future.
